A spider asks of a woman, “Why did you step on me?” The spider has just been killed in the bathroom. The spider questions the woman’s arachnophobia and explains that she was harmless. Actually helps rid the house of pests. Tells the woman that most religions teach the sanctity of life, even of small invertebrates.
But, understands the woman will not change her views of spiders.
