Abstract
While DSpace is now commonly used as an institutional repository framework, its use for publishing and sharing large-scale research data with their associated metadata is still less explored. Therefore, this project explores the use of newly upgraded DSpace REST API to automate the former batch ingestion process that required more time and professional support by publishing the data and their associated metadata. As a part of SEAD Project, a system is being developed to receive data from virtual archive in the form of ORE, parse the ORE file to retrieve associated metadata and automatically ingest them using REST API.
