Abstract
In June 2015, the U.S. National Science Foundation’s eXtreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) project, Canada’s Compute Canada, the European Union Seventh Framework Program’s Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE), and RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Sciences (RIKEN) collaborated to offer an expense-paid program for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from around the world who use high-performance computing (HPC) in their studies. Leading computational scientists and HPC technologists from the U.S.A., Canada, Europe, and Japan offered instruction on a variety of topics over the course of six days at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. This is the Evaluation Report for this event.
