Abstract
The format of this dissertation makes it accessible to new ways of looking at generations-old issues. As a collaborative effort combining the voices and talents of faculty, students and staff, the result reflects on the issues of child abuse and power, stepmothers, family codes of silence, violence and betrayal. This performance is intended to symbolically save others from such experiences. The more it is viewed and discussed the more aware the public can become of the insidious nature of child abuse.
