Abstract
The findings of the study offer support for the examination of physical activity participation as a true stage behavior (Weinstein, Rothman, & Sutton, 1998). The mediational role of planned behavior constructs was supported and may aid in the assessment and development of future interventions. The results also supported the relationship between lifestyle activity and health-related quality of life and the role of self-efficacy in that relationship.
