This paper addresses the issues of promoting interdisciplinary library resources and discusses Scholars Portal Search (SPS) and the effects of our teaching and user interaction on web design and the underlying subject analysis and organization of its databases. Scholars Portal Search, a unique interdisciplinary resource covering the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural and health sciences, and technology, was developed by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), a consortium of twenty university libraries in Ontario, and is available to all participating universities.
