Abstract
Under the limitation of lack of randomization, it was concluded that the reproduction test of tonal memory appears to possess moderately high concurrent/construct validity with certain recognition tests of tonal memory. However, the creation of a recognition measure with a stronger relationship to a reproduction test was suggested as a more reliable alternative to reproduction testing in light of the hazards of administering and scoring such a measure in a non-biased fashion.
