Abstract
The study suggests that two- and three-year-old children's voluntary modeling activity is a far more complex and sophisticated experience than previously understood. This experience in modeling is believed to be encouraged when children are frequently exposed to modeling material, to be able to explore and manipulate freely, and to be able to continuously develop and build knowledge, skills, and ideas needed in modeling.
