Abstract
Chapter One is a summary of what is known about Pachacuti Yamqui's manuscript and offers a survey of scholarly opinion about the test. Chapter Two presents the state of our knowledge on the author biography. Chapter Three deals with Pachacuti Yamqui's treatment of pre-Hispanic ritual. Chapter Four surveys Pachacuti Yamqui's presentation of myth. Chapter Five is a study of Pachacuti Yamqui's version of the myth of one of the Twelve Apostle's visit to the New World. Chapters Six and Seven are a detailed analysis of the illustrations found in the Relacion.
