Abstract
In the third and fourth part of this work, we examine the microscopic failure processes and their effect on the macroscopic failure response of stiff-inclusion-reinforced adhesives, self-healing adhesives and rubber-toughened adhesives using the multi-scale cohesive framework. We present the effect of several microscopic parameters on the macroscopic failure properties of these adhesives.
