Abstract
The final part of this thesis discusses the preparation and characterization of two deoxycapsidiols as well as a series of capsidiol analogs including epiaristolochene and two isomers. Overall, ten capsidiol derivatives were synthesized from capsidiol and sent to collaborators for various biological evaluations. In addition, this library was evaluated for antifungal activity in order to establish preliminary structure-activity relationships.
