Abstract
Finally, loop-directed mutagenesis was used to incorporate a 2Fe-2S cluster binding loop from human ferrochelatase into azurin. Preliminary iron binding studies indicate the assembly of a 4Fe-4S or a 2Fe-2S iron sulfur cluster.
