Abstract
2. Nonlinear dynamics of the electrohydraulic actuator are represented by linear periodic models obtained from linearization about nominal input trajectories and output trajectories corresponding to periodic reference trajectories. The correct identification methodology is developed and utilized. The repetitive controllers and feedforward controllers designed from the linear periodic models provide improved tracking performance for the reference trajectories. The appropriate use of variable sampling interval further improves the tracking performance.
