Abstract
The research includes tribological experiments using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant at high pressures under a wide range of loading and temperature conditions, examination of the effects of lubricants in the tribological performance of the material interfaces, microscopy analysis and chemical studies of the tribologically tested surfaces, and investigation of protective materials for advancing the tribological performance of interacting surfaces.
