Abstract
The improvements of the proposed formulation are discussed in terms of including modal accessibility and destination size variables. The model is applied to a portion of the Chicago area. The quality of the solution convergence, the evaluation of model performance compared to the observed travel pattern, and the model sensitivity with regard to the level of aggregation and errors in the parameter values are reported.
