Abstract
Implications of these generational and migratory differences in TEK and TEK transmission are discussed in terms of theory and methods in cross-cultural human development, cognitive, and social psychology. Practical applications of the findings for programs aimed at the protection of TEK transmission in indigenous groups are also discussed.
