Abstract
Results on economic value creation were conducted using linear and oscillating demand growth patterns, and the base line or the high frequency changes in the number of pigs per litter hence restricting supply. For all the scenarios simulated, strategic information feedback produced higher profits, than the tactical component price coordination mechanism. From a strategic management perspective, results imply that faster transmission of information is economically valuable.
