Abstract
Charge ordering (CO) phase transformations in La1-xCa xMnO3 were studied at Ca doping levels x = 0.33, 0.50, 0.67, 0.75 and 0.77. Temperature-controlled in-situ electron diffraction and high resolution dark field images were carried out to investigate the phase competitions between CO and other phases during the phase transformations. Different scenario of phase transformations were found in differently doped La1-x CaxMnO3. Correlations between the structures and physical property measurements were also studied in La1-xCa xMnO3.
