Abstract
This work focuses primarily on scattering by large conducing bodies. We also consider radiation and scattering by dielectric-coated, metallic surfaces. For these problems, solution efficiency is improved by using boundary conditions to reduce a volumetric formulation to a surface formulation. Finally, we provide alternative methods to locate the position of a buried receiver using low-frequency magnetic fields.
