Abstract
A study of charm meson production in e+ e- gamma* → cc¯ events at s = 10.5 GeV is presented. Included are measurements of the fragmentation distributions of D+s and D*+s , the vector to pseudoscalar production ratio for Ds, and the D*+ spin alignment. A description of the new trigger designed for the CLEO III detector is also provided.
