Abstract
In the first part of this thesis an introduction to the theoretical and experimental considerations for this analysis is presented, followed by a description of the measurement of the above-mentioned asymmetries. Finally, the analysis concerning the conversion of these measured asymmetries into quark polarizations is detailed. From the quark polarizations, polarized parton distributions are extracted, and first and second moments calculated.
