Abstract
The second comparison was to determine the significance of the demographic information on the six factors. The independent demographic variables that were significant toward predicting the factors were: number of children, how often their mother volunteered, and household income. The general conclusions are that the female volunteers in this research study were a highly educated group of females, with mentors, and a household income level above the United States average income level. This sample placed value for investing in training on: competition, accomplishment, people orientation, and recognition. This differs from other research studies which placed heavy emphasis on recognition as the first value.
