Abstract
Overall the interpretive argument framework for test validation as proposed by Kane worked well for the intended purpose of the study despite some drawbacks. These included the demands for comprehensiveness and the multitude of evidence needed in order to evaluate the strength of the validity argument for examining test use and impact and whether these demands can be met effectively by a single researcher in a single study.
