Abstract
This study suggests reflection and collaboration as ways to improve teacher education as well as the use of case studies, videotapes, and group work. The study also suggests considering what knowledge the student teachers should learn during their teacher education program. Finally, this study suggests the need to explore the core values of teacher education programs and offers practical ways of exploring folk pedagogy in teacher education.
