Abstract
Data for the study were collected from multiple in-depth interviews with the two selected superintendents and additional documents were studied to determine to what extent the notion of a spiritual dimension existed in the leadership style of the subjects. The study findings showed that a spiritual dimension did exist in the leadership style of the subjects studied and that such a dimension had a significant impact upon their leadership style. The researcher contends that the phenomenon of spirituality positively influenced the commendable performance of the subjects studied and that such an influence was a factor in their exemplary leadership.
