Maria has a passion for teaching that enables her to persist when she encounters the struggles and stresses of children and families with many diverse needs. She has a mind-set of persistence to find the resources she needs to accomplish the things that she thinks are important and worthwhile for her students. Her students and their learning are at the center of her life's work.
