Abstract
Invertebrate sampling was conducted at three sites: Indian Ridge Marsh, Indian Creek, and Hegewisch Marsh. A total of 1,626 species were recorded. Further sampling would yield many more species. Approximately 48% of all species came from the sedge meadows of the Indian Ridge Marsh and Hegewisch Marsh, relatively small portions of these properties. It is recommended that these locations not be disturbed to preserve their diversity.
