Abstract
In this paper, the concept of the Plasma Bipolar Junction Transistor (PBJT) and its applications are discussed. Brief historical backgrounds as well as the basic plasma characteristics are included. The device fabrication, experimental setup, and the results of the fabricated PBJT of the current generation are present. Moreover, the design of the next generation devices is discussed.
