Abstract
From 1965 to 1988 there emerged and proliferated a trend of historical revisionism which reexamined the relationship schooling had with the dynamics of the market society. The key authors utilized a social-organizational perspective for their analysis with few recommendations or suggestions on how to amend the problematic aspects which they had identified.
This study utilizes the same social-organizational method to examine why the key authors failed to provide solutions which were logically implicit in the social-organizational model.
