Abstract
The main objective of this project is to provide ideas and recommendations for three low-income, food insecure communities in Kenya, East Africa. This project reveals that the best intervention strategies for proposed food secure communities involved building farmers' social networks for empowerment, strengthening bargaining power for affordable food prices, and using maps as tools to locate markets that farmers can access and participate in, while building marketing skills.
