Abstract
In 2003, Monteverde was designated a municipality; its local government now focused on managing the district's growth and prosperity. The municipality has requested assistance to aid in their task of developing growth management strategies and provide them with recommendations related to land use, water, and transportation that can be implemented for the management of the district.
