Abstract
A community study was conducted on the Heights Neighborhood, located in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, because neighborhood residents and members of the Heights Parish of Christ Community Church were seeing an increase in vacant and blighted housing and an increase in crime and they wanted to do something to change that. The result of the community study is the formalization of the Heights Community Development Corporation.
