Abstract
Gives details, both architectural and engineering, and a review of an extensive computer study (made in 1976) of predicted energy requirements for a large number of special cases in which various components affecting energy requirements were separately studied. Reports voluntarily supplied to the Council by homebuilders and owners around the country indicate that the basic concept of a solar-oriented house with super-insulated construction is a valid one.
