Abstract
"A brief resume of roofing problen1s is presented and a definition of the failure termed as ""wrinkle-cracking"" is given. The results of a literature search and a bibliography are included. Observations made during field investigations are discussed as well as information acquired from a questionnaire returned by members of the National Roofing Contractors Association. Results of studying two test panels under laboratory conditions are presented and discussed. From the various parts of the study conclusions are drawn as to the causes of wrinkle cracking and recommendations are made for further studies and for change& in roofing specifications that will limit the possibility of this type of failure."
