Abstract
"This paper is intended to provide an interim summary of the work that has been invested in the ""1 1/2 story frame"". There is no intention of arriving at unequivocal conclusions. Actually, its main objective is to provide a starting point for those who will continue the investigation now that the computer program is operational. In this vein, it contains a description of the structural analysis with the actual derivattons added as appendices . The procedure is the solution of slope-deflection equations in matrix form, using a digital computer. Since the person continuing this project need not necessarily be familiar with computer programming, the procedure for using the finished program, as well as information about the computer which is of general interest, has been included as the final section."
