Abstract
"The farmhouse presented in this circular is a solution to a farmhouse design problem undertaken by the College of Agriculture and the Small Homes Council under a research grant made to the University of Illinois by the Farm Journal, Philadelphia. The goal of the designers was a farmhouse which would be adaptable ""to typical requirements and conditions for living on owneroperated farms in the North Central States."""
