Abstract
This circular is intended to be used as a guide in planning the electrical system for a new home or as a basis for checking the electrical system in an existing house. It is primarily concerned with four aspects of electrical use and planning. 1) The location and selection of electrical outlets for maximum convenience. 2) The amount and the nature of the electricity needed to supply these outlets. 3) The individual parts of the wiring system used to distribute electricity throughout the house. 4) The provisions for safety from shock and fire.
