Abstract
Arts and Cultural Informatics is a synthesis of various disciplines in an attempt to advance the state of art utilizing information control. Imagery of analog circuitry and information processing, and digital analytics dominate the foreground of this picture, revealing what would seem to be a highly technical lab environment. As you look past the foreground, the context of a recital hall reveals itself. Properly contextualizing new technologies of electrical engineering, computer science, and information science within artistic performance is the focus of my research. Between these various disciplines, I hope to build interfaces fusing the advantages of each into a higher art.
