Abstract
"The Podeschi family discusses the small, independent, yet vibrant family-run grocery store in Mattoon, IL. ""My Store"" opened in 1955, and the family feel its success is due to hard work, commitment to service & quality, endurance, and community identification. The initial store opened in Kincaid, IL in 1923, and three generations have since been involved in the grocery store operations."
