Abstract: Blended learning is the intentional combination of pedagogical strategies that include a diversity of media, online and face-to-face teaching techniques, targeting an enhanced teaching and learning process. This chapter focuses on the design of blended learning courses, the alternative pedagogical strategies that can be used in either formats to fulfill specific learning goals, and an analysis of the different types of integration.
