Abstract
This report summarizes the findings and recommendations from a two-day workshop held at Yellowstone National Park (YNP) on 16-17 April 2013. Members of the Site-Based Data Curation (SBDC) research team met with researchers, park rangers, and National Park Service (NPS) data managers to gain a broader understanding of the steps needed to facilitate greater data sharing among all of the YNP research stakeholders. All present agreed that in addition to the clear value of aggregating research data, the practice of site photography could be leveraged to provide a valuable access point to data. Next steps, including development of data sharing awareness materials, are set forth within the report's recommendations.
