Abstract
Past work has given rise to many wireless sensor network (WSN) protocols designed for low power consumption and varying network densities. NPM is a new approach which allows for low power consumption without sacrificing throughput or latency in the newtwork. The protocol was built in TinyOS, an embedded operating system, to support simulations.
