Abstract
National Science Foundation project # 1038813 explored opportunities and challenges of coordinated observation of humans and the water environment at large scale. One segment of this project collected primary data through an original survey of water professionals, entitled: National Survey on the Water Environment: Exploratory Questionnaire. This archive contains four files: (1) a description of the survey methodology and and annotation of the variables collected as well as constructed from the raw data, (2) The survey instrument, (3) the data, and (4) a related manuscript in review for publication.
