This document presents the Gateway
Improvement Plan for the City of Aurora,
IL. The plan outlines the framework for
redeveloping,
branding, and
improving the
aesthetics of
the City’s major
corridors in an
effort to create
a vibrant built
environment that reflects the Aurora
community. Each corridor chapter
of the plan includes an analysis of
existing conditions and a streetscape
beautification plan. Additionally, each
chapter concludes with detailed
strategies and goals for implementing
the Gateway Improvement Program.
