Abstract
For our podcast, we examined a Chinese undergraduate student's decision which led him to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his desire of mobility. UIUC is No. 1 among the public universities in population of international students. Recently, population of Chinese undergraduate students has been rapidly increasing. We examined what led this particular student to study abroad and also why he chose UIUC. We also wanted to know what he feels he has gotten from studying computer science at UIUC.
This collection examines the influence of globalization on the university and the university's place in a burgeoning world market for higher education.
