Veronica Kann, Interim Director (and current Assistant Director) of La Casa, is an anthropologist who joined the La Casa staff in the early 90’s. During this period, La Casa and the LLS programs were struggling to identify themselves against each other as separate academic and cultural units. In addition to this problem, they were having issues gaining support from the University. Kann details her experiences during this time period, and then her experiences since then.
