Abstract
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Library Programs, the OCLC Internet Resources project investigated the nature of electronic textual information accessible via the Internet. This empirical study also explored the practical and theoretical problems associated with providing traditional library
services for electronic text in a wide area network environment. This report presents the findings and recommendations arising from the project, as well as suggested areas for further study.
