Abstract
My research project looked at discrimination against Muslim Students on University of Illinois campus. My project mainly focused on why and how are Muslims are discriminated on campus. The aim of this project was to outline different ways Muslims students are being discriminated by non- Muslim students on campus. The project included interviews of the Muslims that have been discriminated and were willing to share their stories. As we all know UIUC has a huge population of Muslim students, which made it it harder to find people that are discriminated by other non- Muslims students. In order to find these people I asked Muslim students to help me find people who had been discriminated so I could interview them and asked them question regarding their discriminatory act that they faced. In the interview I asked them about their background information, then asked them to tell how were they discriminated and why they thought they were discriminated. I also asked them how did 9/11 change the Muslim community in their hometown.
