Abstract
This project focuses on Chinese student and their anxieties with English and how they express these anxieties. It seems as if many international Chinese students use their fears of English as an excuse to segregate themselves with people nationally and ethnically similar to themselves. This project also focuses on why Chinese students must feel like they have completely mastered the English language to feel truly effective in speaking English.
The university offers an extraordinary opportunity to study and document student communities, life, and culture. This collection includes research on the activities, clubs, and durable social networks that comprise sometimes the greater portion of the university experience for students.
