Abstract
"This paper explores recent technological innovations for people with disabilities that have emerged from the University of Illinois. My research has led me to examine several different models for coming up with and developing a design that incorporate the user (a person with a disability) at different stages in the design process. This paper aims to answer the question of which method is most efficient and best provides for the needs and wants of people with disabilities, and finds that there is no ""one size fits all"" standard that would work best in all situations, but that there are some things the university could put into place in order to foster further growth and innovation in this field."
This collection examines ways in which the U.S. university and the American college experience are affected by diversity, and difference. In particular, these student projects examine experiences of diversity on campus, including important contemporary social, cultural, and political debates on equity and access to university resources.
